This report presents a request by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs to the State Legislature to increase the licensing fee assessed to driving-under-the-influence programs for each newly enrolled participant.
Abstract
The Department's DUI Program Branch is responsible for licensing a 3-month first offender program, an 18-month multiple offender program, and a 30-month multiple offender program. This report provides data on participant enrollments, number of licensed programs, on-site compliance reviews, and expenditures and revenues to justify this request to raise the licensing fee. 3 tables and 1 appendix
