Tables on delinquency dispositions address dispositions and rate per 100,000 juvenile population, a disposition summary, selected dispositions by race, dispositions by type, dispositions for 1990-94, attorney representation for dispositions, dispositions by referral source, and time lapse from referral to disposition. Tables on delinquency placements include a summary, placements by type of service, placement rate, placements for 1990-94, and selected placements by race. Data on delinquency offenses address the type and number of alleged offenses, selected serious crimes, and the type and number of substantiated offenses. A section on detention contains standards that govern the use of secure detention, reasons for admission to secure detention, length of stay, and utilization rate. Data on demographics encompass race, gender, age, school status and highest grade completed, family status, and living arrangement. Dependency dispositions are presented by type, race, gender, and age. Tables on disposition and placement reviews address the outcomes of delinquency, dependency, and delinquency-disposition reviews; total placements by type of service for delinquency disposition reviews; and placement transfers by type of service for delinquency placement reviews.
