This document lists publications and videotapes produced by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) between 1985 and September 1995.
Abstract
The NIJ makes available several publication and videotape series which concern research and practices in criminal justice; highlights and evaluations of specific State and local practices; reports from conferences and seminars; and short, nontechnical summaries of information on AIDS and related justice policies. The document lists products alphabetically by subject: (1) Community Policing; (2) Computers and Technology; (3) Corrections; (4) Corrections Construction; (5) Courts; (6) Crime Prevention; (7) Criminal Justice System and AIDS; (8) Criminology and Research; (9) Drug Testing; (10) Drugs and Crime; (11) Law Enforcement; (12) Victims; and (13) Violence. Each publication is listed with: title, author, date of publication, number of pages, NCJ number (i.e., the identification number for ordering), and print and electronic availability. Most of the items are free; others are available for a nominal fee. All can be obtained through the order form at the back of the Catalog, which also contains instructions on how to access NIJ publications available online.
