The information for each item includes its title, author, date of publication, sales source, and other descriptive information; the main thesaurus terms and other index terms that describe the content; and an abstract of the content. An instruction section on the CD-ROM explains the use of the database and how to search for documents on particular topics. The documents are all available through interlibrary loan for users in the United States and through International Document Exchange for foreign users. The database can be searched through main terms, index terms, and general fields.
