The chapter focuses on discrimination against women as it is manifested through the prevalence of sexual harassment; the outcome of litigation related to sexual harassment, particularly in the workplace; and the prosecution of rape. The agenda for change proposed here would encompass more mandated services available to all women victims of every type of sexual assault; the passage of laws protecting the confidentiality of victims; and an emphasis on the sensitive treatment of sexual assault victims by employers, police, and other players in the criminal justice system. 4 references
