This article describes the current situation regarding organized crime in Romania.
Abstract
The transition in Romania has impacted the crime situation. An analysis of crime trends and statistical data shows that in the near future, serious crime (murders, crimes against the person, property crime, corruption, misuse of social funds) will increase. (English summary)
