In December 1989, a letter was sent to all State alcohol and drug abuse directors requesting information on their State's research efforts that might be of interest to other States.
Abstract
The purpose of the survey project was to compile and share information on research funded or conducted by State agencies. Responses were received from 30 States and territories. Of these, five reported no current research projects but expressed interest in the survey and its findings. State responses, arranged in alphabetical order, generally contain the title of the research project, project dates, financial support information, and a project description.
