Guide to the Internet for Juvenile Justice Professionals

NCJ Number

Annotation
This guide for juvenile justice professionals is designed to promote use of the Internet to locate juvenile justice resources.
Abstract
The bulk of the guide consists of 60 World Wide Web sites which are organized under seven broad categories: advocacy, government, policy, research, resources and clearinghouses, special projects, and training and technical assistance. Each web site profile includes a description of the sponsoring organization and a summary of the various types of information resources available at the site. The guide acknowledges that many juvenile justice professionals are using or would like to use the Internet as a source of timely information in an era of rapid change and that the information highway links juvenile justice policymakers and practitioners with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and other Federal, State, and local agencies and private organizations serving young people.
