In the dramatization, the two officers pursue a car after the driver seeks to elude them after a traffic violation. After the officers make the stop and have ordered the driver out of the car, a group of men come to the scene and begin harassing the officers and then start physically attacking them. The men attempt to take the officers' side arms from them. When one man succeeds in taking one officer's primary weapon, the officer uses his back-up handgun to incapacitate the man before he can fire the weapon he has taken from the officer. Meanwhile, the second officer is wrestling with another man who has succeeded in taking the officer's weapon from his holster and is attempting to point the weapon toward the officer's head as they both wrestle for it. The other officer comes to the aid of his partner as he shoots the assailant before he can fire the other officer's weapon. A subsequent interview with one of the officers who was originally involved in the incident emphasizes the importance of physical fitness (aerobic and strength training) and mental preparation in being able to survive the attack. The narrator then challenges viewers to follow an appropriate physical and mental regimen that would enable them to survive a similar attack.
