Also included in general comparisons are crime, arrest, and traffic accidents and moving citations per 1,000 population, as well as Part I crimes and attempts reported by the FBI. A section on crimes and other investigations provides a summary of total Part I offenses and data on the offenses of homicide, forcible rapes and attempts, aggravated assaults, robberies and attempts, burglaries and attempts, larcenies and attempts, vehicle thefts and recoveries, worthless documents, Part II offenses, arson, and law enforcement officers killed or assaulted. Adult arrest statistics are presented by location and type of offense; by month and type of offense; by age, sex, and type of offense; by police bureaus; and dispositions. Similar information is provided for juvenile arrests. Data on traffic accidents and enforcement are presented by month and location, injury by month and location, fatal accidents by month and location, property damage by month and location, and bureau citations by area and detail. Telephone calls received and units dispatched are presented by bureau. The section on personnel and equipment provides data on the location of assignment and classification for civilian personnel; data on sworn personnel address age, years of service, years in present rank, and location of assignment. Data also cover leave, work, overtime, and compensation. Training division curricula and auto equipment are covered as well.
