The program is specifically intended to link juvenile offenders with private employers, local and regional employment training institutions, schools, nonprofit youth service organizations, and family service agencies. An overview of the program is presented that focuses on the target population, probation officer and counselor responsibilities, job development activities, and program accomplishments. Comments of program participants about the aftercare component are included, and a comprehensive strategy for juvenile offenders is outlined. Tables and figures
