Because cameras used at crime scenes are sometimes difficult to focus in the dark, the author proposes attaching a mini-mag to the camera's tripod socket.
Abstract
The following procedures for using the mini-mag camera mount on a manual Canon F-1 are illustrated: (1) pinch the narrows opening on one arm of the binder clip forming an eye--this will be the mounting arm of the clip; (2) wind the wingnut backward on the bolt and then place the washer over the bolt's extended threads; (3) placed exposed threads through the eye of the binder clip's mounting arm and screw the binder clip into the tripod socket; (4) swing the loose binder clip arm over the end of the bolt in order to secure it; and (5) turn on the mini-mag and adjust the focus. 5 photographs
