This Charter of the Almighty Latin King Nation (ALKN) contains a description of the gang's structure, philosophy, member behavior mandates, disciplinary procedures, and sanctions for member misconduct.
Abstract
All activities of the ALKN must be conducted under the Charter, and all authority exercised by the Executive Crown (governing members appointed by the President) derives from obedience to the Charter. The Charter allows for local, State, and national branches, but all of these chapters must be obedient to the Charter and its interpretation and execution under the authority of the Executive Crown. The five principles to which ALKN members must adhere are love, respect, sacrifice, honor, and obedience. Under these principles, all ALKN members are mandated to speak the "absolute truth at all times"; never become involved in a physical relationship with another member nor with another member's relative, fiance, or spouse; to not inject illegal drugs or consume any type of unhealthy drug; to not steal; and to refrain from physically, verbally, mentally, or emotionally assaulting another member for any reason. Procedures are specified for dealing with cases of misconduct. Sanctions for misconduct include probation, suspension, fines, or termination from the gang (giving up all signs and rights of gang membership).
