Abstract
The CHANGE Project attempts to help men end their violence against women. The Project has furnished a modular course for inmates of a local prison and established, in partnership with other agencies, a support group for women partners of men in the program. Attempts to change public perception of domestic violence have included the Scottish Office's television and poster campaign and the Central Region's Zero Tolerance Campaign. In November 1994, Dale Hurst, a community psychologist from Melbourne, Australia, discussed media campaigns in his locality. The report presents information in 11 chapters: (1) Convenor's Report; (2) The CHANGE Project; (3) Staffing and Management; (4) CHANGE's Perspective on Men's Violence; (5) Referrals to the Men's Program; (6) Independent Research Report; (7) Feedback from Program Participants; (8) Partner Work; (9) Prison-based Work; (10) Dale Hurst's Seminar; and (11) Teaching, Training and Conferences.
