This Annual Uniform Crime Report portrays the nature, volume and extent of crime in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during 1995.
Abstract
The report describes the Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting Program, crime factors, classification of offenses, calculation of rates, and presents a summary of crime in Pennsylvania in 1995. The report includes data on: crime rates and clearance rates; ethnic intimidation and hate crime; violent crime; property crime; murder and nonnegligent manslaughter; forcible rape; robbery; aggravated assault; burglary; larceny-theft; motor vehicle theft; arson; vandalism; drunkenness; disorderly conduct; liquor law violations; driving under the influence; and drug abuse violations. The report also describes offenses by Common Human Services Regions and by Metropolitan Statistical Areas. Separate sections contain statistics on persons charged and dispositions; crime victims; law enforcement employees in Pennsylvania; and deaths of and assaults on Pennsylvania law enforcement officers. Figures, tables, appendixes
