Abstract
Themes for the project are drawn from the Olympic games and focus on the Olympic ideas of cooperation and teamwork, citizenship, fair play, and goal setting. Suggested activities involve students in a variety of information, problem-solving, and service learning projects that are appropriate for all students, including students with disabilities. Lesson plans are designed for grades kindergarten through high school and focus on decision-making and on learning how to express feelings and acquire positive motivations.
