This volume presents Appendixes E and F, tabulations of data collected and analyzed for the evaluation of Phase I of the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign, sponsored by the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
Abstract
The volume is a companion to the complete report of the Phase I evaluation (see NCJ-175682). The Media Campaign was the largest and most comprehensive anti-drug media campaign ever undertaken by the Federal Government and was different from earlier efforts because it used paid advertising. The 480 tables in Appendix E contain aggregate data for youth, teens, and parents for both target and comparison sites. These data document the findings in the main report and can be used to examine overall trends in target and comparison sites during the baseline and follow-up periods. The 36 tables in Appendix F contain site-level data. These data help provide a picture of how youth, teens, and parents responded to the Media Campaign and their awareness of paid ads and public service announcements in their respective sites. Tables
