Specific techniques applicable to the implementation of child abuse prevention projects are detailed, such as structured group techniques, needs assessment, written reports, advantages and disadvantages of using surveys, the use of community leaders as resources, developing objectives and clear statements of need, working with volunteers, training, and public relations.
