Abstract
The study to trace developmental factors that cause or prevent criminality used an accelerated longitudinal design never undertaken in research on delinquency and crime. Overlapping age groups permitted the program to simulate a 21-year cohort in less than 5 years. The second article discusses bringing States into compliance with terms of juvenile justice and delinquency prevention legislation and reviews key components of successful efforts. The document includes abstracts of publications concerning corrections; courts; drugs and crime; juvenile justice; law enforcement; offenses; staff resource development; and victims. Notes
