Capital punishment sites on the Internet are listed, along with brief discussions of the content of each site and their possible utility in the classroom.
Abstract
The sites provide information about death sentences, executions, and topics related to capital punishment. General information sites are listed first and include the Death Penalty Information Center, human rights groups, the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, and Court TV. Sites are then listed according to legal resources, religion, abolition, characteristics of persons on death row, reports and documentaries, and arguments for and against the death penalty. Sites maintained by State corrections departments and universities are also delineated. 31 references
