Although the focus is on Canadian research, the abundance of research from the United States required the inclusion of research based in North America. Sources were selected from referred journal articles, research reports, books, and papers presented at symposiums/conferences that were published at a later date. There are three recommended readings for those who are interested in firearms research and literature, particularly within the Canadian context.
