The initiative represents the IACP's commitment to strategic planning and to law enforcement and public safety partnerships. The member agencies provide support activities in the areas of crime laboratory services (crime scene processing, DNA, ballistics, and drug testing), central criminal history repositories, shared communications systems, multi-agency task force management, aviation support, and collaboration on legislation.
