The data came from interviews and surveys of personnel from the drug court program, judges involved in the drug court program, offenders involved in the program, drug court staff, representatives of community treatment programs, defense attorneys, prosecuting attorneys, probation and parole, the county jail and the police department. Results revealed that the program was highly regarded nationally and locally despite being relatively new. Participants reported that the program has been successfully implemented, fits well into the local community, has served many eligible persons in the community, and has successfully met its goals. The feedback from each of the agencies and perspectives surveyed was overwhelmingly positive. In addition, results of intake data provided information about the characteristics of individuals who terminated from the program compared to individuals who graduated.
