Data on more than 3,500 facilities are organized by agency and institution type and furnish information on thousands of individuals in key positions throughout corrections. The book describes the administration and organization of each State’s department of corrections, including juvenile divisions and paroling authorities, and includes the departments’ web addresses. In addition, it presents summaries of correctional systems, offender demographics and personnel data. A section on informational summaries describes, among other things, capital expenditures and projects, major operating expenses, operating and capital expenditures budgets and position of corrections departments in State governments.
