Abstract
The report details actions taken in 1999, including complaints received, investigations, and formal written complaints, and summarizes all 1999 dispositions by town and village justices, city and county court judges, family court judges, district court judges, court of claims judges, surrogates, Supreme Court justice, court of appeals and Appellate Division judges, and non-judges. The report also presents information and data on formal proceedings in 1999, judge censure and removal, dismissed or closed formal written complaints, and referrals to other agencies. In addition, the report contains a special section on political activity by judges and others affiliated with New York's court system.
