Abstract
The text contains two parts, an arrest course and a firearms course. Sections of the arrest course focus on professional orientation, community relations, legal issues and the law (probable cause, obstruction of justice, constitutional rights, and reasonable and deadly force), rules of evidence, communications, investigations, and arrest and control. Sections of the firearms course cover firearms safety, handgun familiarization, weapon cleaning and storage, firearms shooting principles, and handgun combat shooting on the firearms range. Figures
