The mission of the CSD encompasses serving the community by providing high quality and cost-effective custodial and rehabilitation services, detaining persons in a secure manner that protects public safety and that is compatible with human dignity, and providing the best possible opportunity for all inmates to make a new start in life by offering timely and comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
