With this background information in place, the book examines the social context and the reality of drug use. Subsequent chapters cover theoretical considerations and risk factors commonly associated with drug use and then look in a detailed way at heroin, alcohol, cocaine, crack, and marijuana. The final chapter considers elements of drug treatment services. Appendixes contain questionnaires to survey university student alcohol use and drug services agency management personnel.
