This document describes the program plan for competitive requests for proposals in the State of California.
Abstract
The Request for Proposals (RFP) provides information on how to prepare a proposal for grant funds in accordance with authorizing legislation and funding terms, conditions, and eligibility criteria established by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (OCJP). It also describes programs not included in this Program Plan. Information on the RFP process includes: Determining Eligibility, Selection of Proposals for Funding, Standard Project Funding Authority, Processing Grant Awards, Administrative Requirements, and Glossary of Terms. General Instructions cover Structure of This Program Plan, Preparing a Proposal, Submitting a Proposal, Grant Award Face Sheet, Preference Points Certification Form, Project Narrative, Project Budget, Proposal Appendix, and Standard Forms. Programmatic Instructions include Community Crime Resistance Program, Child Abuse Vertical Prosecution Program, Gang Violence Suppression Program - Multi-Component Group Model, Family Violence Prevention Program, and Career Criminal Apprehension Program.
