This report contains information about most of the major stages of the juvenile justice system in Florida, from intake to referral disposition, including commitment to the Department of Juvenile Justice and transfers to the adult court system. Data were obtained from the Juvenile Justice Information System and from the Client Information System, so as to compile aggregate measures of delinquency trends in Florida. The data span a 5-year period from fiscal year 1995-96, through fiscal year 1999-2000; they can be displayed by judicial circuit, county, and statewide.
