Abstract
The volume includes: (1) an Appendix to Chapter 3 of the original report, Abstracts of Recent PKPA and UCCJA Cases; (2) an Appendix to Chapter 6, Legal Procedures for the Enforcement of Child Custody Determinations and the Recovery and Return of Parentally Abducted Children, and Forms for the Enforcement of Child Custody Determinations; and (3) an Appendix to Chapter 10, Criminal Appellate Case Briefs. The Appendix to Chapter 3 and Appendix to Chapter 10 contain criminal appellate case briefs that describe decisions by numerous state appellate courts and state Supreme Courts regarding the cases examined in the original report. The decisions include explanations and bases for the decisions as well as brief discussions of decisions regarding other, similar cases. The Appendix to Chapter 6 is an article concerned with what happens when parties to a custody decree are in different states and one of the parties is deprived by the other of custody rights accorded pursuant to a court decree.
