This booklet is a guide to the systems available through the Technology Transfer Program at the Counterdrug Technology Assessment Center, Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Abstract
The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) was established under the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 to set priorities and objectives for national drug control, promulgate the National Drug Control Strategy on an annual basis, and oversee the strategy's implementation. The Counterdrug Technology Assessment Center (CTAC) within ONDCP is the central counterdrug enforcement research and development organization of the United States Government. The Technology Transfer Program was established to match counterdrug systems and devices developed by CTAC with State or local law enforcement agency requirements and arrange for the transfer of those items. This booklet includes a Technology Transfer Program application form and information regarding eligibility standards and membership responsibilities. The booklet also contains descriptions and illustrations of 21 systems and devices such as an advanced vehicle tracking system, an air-ground surveillance management system, and a portable digital pager intercept system.
