Abstract
The work of the year 2000 to year 2002 Joint Legislative Council and the Joint Legislative Committee members are profiled in this general report from the State of Wisconsin. After listing the Joint Legislative Council’s eight meetings, held between July 1, 2000 and July 30, 2002, this report describes the organization and activities of the Joint Legislative Council and the operation of Council staff. Focusing on the various Joint Legislative Council committees, this report describes the activities and actions of the arts funding, condominium law, dental care, developmental disabilities, guardians ad litem in actions affecting the family, labor shortage, law revision, navigable waters recodification, recodification of operating while intoxicated and safety laws pertaining to motor vehicle, all terrain vehicle, boat or snowmobile operation, State-tribal relations, and use of prescription drugs for children committees. Contact information for each of the committees’ public members, representatives, and chairpersons are listed in an appendix to complete this general report.
