This directory is an updated version of the same directory dated 1998. This 2002 directory offers lists by States of programs and organizations designed to offer support and other services to families of adult criminal offenders. The program or organization name, telephone number, address, Web site, email address, contact name, and area served are all listed when possible. Also included in each listing is a brief description of the program or service offered. Information for Canadian services is included, as are several organizations that offer international services. The information presented in this publication was gathered by the Family and Corrections Network. The information was generated through a mailed survey to departments of corrections in the United States, to programs that were included in the 1998 directory, and to other programs known to the Family and Corrections Network.
