Current technological advances in the world bring dangerous influences of violence and crime to today’s youths. Investing time and energy into children is a chief way in which to reduce juvenile delinquency and crimes committed by youths. Children need to receive monetary child support, quality educational programming, and counseling when needed, and that in-home parenting and quality after-school programs help to ensure that children will grow up to be strong, healthy, educated, and law abiding citizens. Research demonstrates that children who are denied educational programming are more likely to be chronic law breakers, and it is well known that children who are neglected and abused early in life will act out violently throughout their life course. While investing in children takes time and money, the results are worth the effort.
