This includes yearly admissions and releases, demographics, and return rate of offenders released. The major milestones, highlights, and plans of offender programs are described, along with the allocation of funds and program expenditures. The types of programs listed include academic and special education, vocational education, sex offender treatment, substance abuse treatment, and community-based and other facility programs. Correctional industries--traditional and private--are listed, as well as the major milestones, highlights, and plans, and revenues and earnings. Parole services, community corrections, and conservation camps are discussed. The eight facilities in the State of Kansas are discussed, as well as the management responsibilities, capacity changes, and capital improvement projects.
