Provided by the Ohio Bureau of Research/Office of Policy, this annual report provides comprehensive information on the number of commitments to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction for the year 2003. Information on commitments is provided in the following areas: (1) the number of commitments by county and rehabilitation center; (2) the number of commitments by race and ethnicity; (3) the number of commitments by age at admission and reception center; (4) the number of Senate Bill 2 (SB2) commitments by felony level of most serious conviction offense, sex, and length of aggregate sentence; (5) the number of pre-SB2 commitments by felony level of most serious conviction offense, sex, and length of aggregate sentence; (6) the number of commitments by offense category, offense and reception center; and (7) the combined SB2 and pre-SB2 commitments by offense category.
