Abstract
For each adult corrections facility, the average daily inmate population by month is shown next to the facility's inmate capacity. A separate table presents these data for female inmates, and another table shows the average daily population per month by type of facility. Data on inmate characteristics encompass race, military service, offense, age, county of conviction, and facility location. Admissions data are presented by month, type of admission, and gender, as well as county of origin, age, race, and offense. Release data cover month, type of release, gender, race, length of stay, category of admission, special sentences, and offense. Data on custody distributions of residents within facilities pertain to custody classification by location; current custody classification by most recent placement reason for nonstandard minimum assignments, as well as by population assignment and sex; initial custody classification by override reasons and score and by sex and score; custody classification by risk management type; assigned custody distribution over the last 5 fiscal years; percentage of assigned custody by sex over the last 5 fiscal years; and the distribution of initial assigned custody over the last 5 fiscal years.
