Major development work continues in New Zealand from the 2005/2006 years, with an overall focus on consolidation and progressing key initiatives to improve services and contribute to government priorities. Divided into three parts, the first part sets out the context within which the Ministry is working which includes an overview of the justice sector, role, and contribution of the Ministry and outlook and priorities. The second part describes the outputs to be delivered by the Ministry in 2006/2007, including performance standards and targets associated with those outputs. This part also includes financial statements. Lastly, part 3 provides information about the Ministry’s structure and management of operations, its provision of court services and details of the Crown entities and other service providers funded through Vote Justice non-departmental output classes.
