The CD-ROM contains five main sections: (1) Department of Justice's Global Justice Information Sharing Products; (2) Department of Justice's National Sex Offender Public Registry Web site; (3) Bureau of Justice Assistance and Grantee Resources; (4) Success Stories; and (4) Monographs. The first section on global justice information sharing products presents a series of 16 documents that discuss various aspects of justice information sharing. Products in this section range from documents that describe how to apply security practices to justice information sharing to a review of the Law Enforcement Analytic Standards of the Department of Justice's Global Intelligence Working Group and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts. The second section of the CD-ROM explains that the Sex Offender Public Registry Web site allows all States and territories to share public sex offender data free-of-charge with citizens nationwide. A link to the Web site is provided. The third section of the CD-ROM contains a series of 21 documents designed to assist grantees. Resources include information on building exchange content using the Global Justice XML Data Model; improving public safety through justice information sharing; integrating criminal justice information systems; and optimizing State investments for justice information sharing. The fourth section of the CD-ROM presents a collection of success stories from the Department of Justice's Grant Program, the Global Justice XML Data Model, the Pennsylvania Justice Network, and the JNET Global JXDM. The final CD-ROM section contains one monograph on how to enhance local efforts to engage in justice information systems integration. The resources contained on the CD-ROM are also available on the Office of Justice Programs IT Initiatives Web site.
