This report describes the accomplishments and goals met by seven Florida crime laboratories with grants received under the 2003 Paul Coverdell National Forensic Sciences Improvement Act.
Abstract
Recipients were the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Broward County Crime Laboratory, the Indian River Crime Laboratory, the Palm Beach County Crime Laboratory, the Miami-Dade Crime Laboratory, the Pinellas County Forensic Laboratory, and the Florida Medical Examiner's Offices. Funds were used to purchase lab equipment, provide training, and develop an internal database.
