Abstract
The Fujifilm Fine Pix S9000 has an off-camera PC flash connector, as well as a hot-shoe connector. The camera has a CompactFlash memory-card format giving it the ability to hold more data. The memory-card can now hold up to 8 GB of storage space. It offers a 30 frame-per second movie mode with sound that can record for about 15 minutes. The camera is easy to hold and control and is simple to learn to use. The Olympus EVOLT E-330 is the only digital SLR camera that can show the image you are about to shoot displayed on the viewing screen the way the image will look when it is shot. It can use an off-camera flash through a hot-shoe adapter. In the live-viewing screen, this camera offers a self-cleaning sensor which is the first for the industry. In showing size relationships in a photograph, ALPS Labs offers a set of three-scales, made with either hardwood or flexible plastic. The flexible plastic scales will glow brightly under UV light, bend around corners, and float in water. The hardwood scales will float in water and both have their own storage tube. For smaller object ALPS offer new flexible mini-macro scales. Lastly, ALPS provides a bendable “Victim Person” dummy, made of foam and rubber. This article provides a look at a selection of new and enhanced photography equipment and products presented at the photography convention sponsored by Photo Marketing Association International.
