This study was divided into the nine sessions that were presented at the 2-week intensive program, the summer school project ‘Children’s European Citizenship Information and Participation’ (CeCIP) which convened at ‘Alexandru loan Cuza’ University of Lasi, Romania. The program involved postgraduate students and experts from four European countries: Romania, Germany, Great Britain, and Spain. In a dynamic and interactive environment, the students had the opportunity to better understand and debate nine challenging topics: 1) Children’s European Citizenship: Information and Participation: 2) Introduction to the Web-Campaign; 3) Citizenship From Bellow: Children’s Rights and Social Movements; 4) Children’s Rights as Viewed From Children, Parents, and Teachers; 5) Childhood and New Technologies; 6) Children’s Citizenship and Childhood Welfare; 7) Communicating with Children: From Passive to Interaction; 8) Access to Information: A Risk Factor and/or A Form of Protection Against Violence; and 9) Nomadic Child and Childhood. The 2-week intensive program also provided a good opportunity for intercultural learning experiences among students as future European professionals in the field of children’s rights. Tables
