This report presents potency data on samples of cannabis, hashish, and hash oil for the National Institute on Drug Abuse from December 2008 through March 2009.
Abstract
For the time period of December 16, 2008, through March 15, 2009, the Potency Monitoring Project, conducted for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, analyzed and compiled data on 65,247 cannabis, 1,365 hashish, and 476 hash oil samples. In the samples collected, 33 percent of the cannabis samples were from domestic seizures, which was representative of all 50 States. The highest concentration of THC found in a cannabis sample was 37.20 percent from a laboratory in Vista, CA. The highest sample found during this quarter was 27.30 percent from a laboratory in San Francisco, CA. The number of domestic seizures for this quarterly reporting period was 210 of the 788 cannabis samples submitted. Tables and figures
