Highlights of the 2008 annual report include: (1) the development of a partnership with the Cups 2 staff and several school districts providing services to probationers and their families sponsored by the department in a safe environment; (2) 13 girls with the Female Intervention Program attended the Linda Lorelle Scholarship College Preparatory Conference to learn about scholarships and financial aid; (3) successful audit scores for 6 department facilities and programs with scores ranging from 81 to 100; and (4) total expenditures of $107,582,397 for 2008. This annual report provides an overview of activities and accomplishments within several divisions of the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department for 2008 (Intake Court Services, Pre-adjudication Institutions, Health Services, Field Services, Residential Facilities and Related Services, Budget and Information Technology, Human Resources, and Education Services).
