This web site of the U.S. Justice Department's Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) provides online access to resources for National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) for April 10-16, 2011.
Abstract
The theme for NCVRW is "Reshaping the Future, Honoring the Past." The NCVRW Resource Guide contains a wide range of instructional materials, updated statistics, and promotional items. The CD-ROM provided in the resource guide discusses the maximizing of communication and awareness, artwork, advice on working with the media, landmarks in victims' rights and services, statistical overviews, and a listing of additional resources. A 5-minute DVD features interviews with criminal justice personnel, advocates, and victims whose reflections honor the progress of the victims' rights field and identifies issues for the future. Present. Six planning tips are presented. The complete 2011 NCVRW Resource Guide can be accessed in electronic format at www.ovc.gov/ncvrw2011. Information is provided on access to items that can be ordered.
