Abstract
This publication contains four main articles: 1) Latent Fingerprint Development on Thermal Paper Using Muriatic Acid: A Comparative Analysis which describes a comparison of several techniques for the development of latent fingerprints on thermal paper; 2) A Cautionary Tale: Poor C-216 Prints Saved By Ninhydrin which explains how to improve the quality of fingerprints with Ninhydrin; 3) Finger Tips: Development of Fingerprints by Guttural Breath and Heat/Steam Method which describes how a guttural breath can enhance the overall visual impression; and 4) Case Law: [2000] HMTQ v. Cooper - regarding legal analysis on witness recognition evidence.
