The information in this report identifies causal factors and characteristics of traffic crashes in the State which directly affect the frequency of occurrence or personal death and injury severity levels. The report is used by local and State officials in their traffic safety planning processes and to acquire Federal grant funding support for traffic safety programs. Tables and figures
