This report is a summary of the annual statistical overview of crime and the criminal justice system in Finland.
Abstract
This book provides research on crime, criminality, and the functioning of the criminal justice system in Finland. Also discussed are evaluation studies in other spheres of legal policy. This collection of research is from the National Research Institute of Legal Policy which conducts social and legal studies both in the field of criminology and general legal policy. This research collection includes summaries of the following research reports: Enforcement and Applicability of Supervised Probationary Freedom in Finland; Crime Trends in Finland; the Prevalence and Correlates of Being Targeted for Police Control Among Finnish Adolescents; Precision of Legislation and Its Problems; Regulatory Impact Assessment in the Finnish Government's Proposals in 2009; A Critical Assessment of Better Regulations, Proceedings from the International Conference on Legislative Studies in Helsinki 2010; and the Precision of Legal Rules, The Doctrine within the Law and Economics Approach and a Critical View on It. Tables and figures
