Abstract
In the AIC Annual Report, the Chair of the Board of Management and the Director of the AIC review the significant issues and achievements for the year and highlight expected developments for the coming year. One section describes the role and functions of the AIC, portrays the organizational structure, and presents the AIC's outcome and project objective statement. The report's section on performance review categorizes research undertaken during the year, such as transnational and organized crime, economic and high tech crime, and crime prevention and capacity building. Also included in the performance review are communication and information activities in disseminating AIC research and technical assistance. In the section on accountability and management, the report discusses the AIC's internal governance, including staffing, finance, information and communications, technology, and office services. Appendixes list publications, presentations, roundtables, seminars, and submissions to inquiries. The CRC's Annual Report reviews the organization's performance for the year, highlighting research grant reports received and new grants allocated. The CRC's operating arrangements are described, including its outcome statement and funding criteria and contributions. The external governance framework for the CRC is outlined in another section of the report. A report on performance includes information on new, completed, and continuing project and consultancies funded by the CRC. Appendixes contain mandatory reports on various topics as well as financial tables.
